The nature of Arbcom bans
[edit]What you may not have fully internalized yet is that by willfully violating the terms of your ban, its period automatically extends. I urge you to stop this pointless sockpuppetry. I have blocked this account, accordingly. Nandesuka 02:11, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
Thank you for the DU-related support
[edit]Thank you for your help and all those DU references from months ago. I'm sorry you got banned, but there is a Checkuser case saying we are unrelated with which you might be un-banned. Am I to understand that you are editing as someone else? If so, was that other user autoblocked when this account was blocked? You might be able to answer from an internet cafe or something. I see that you and User:Nandesuka, the admin who banned you both speak intermediate Italian. I do not speak Italian (although I have no idea how to prove that on Wikipedia) so you might want to speak with him in Italian about this situation, I guess. I remember when I was trying to present my ArbCom case so many months ago he kept editing it and I kept reverting him because I was in the middle of it, and he got really angry and has been accusing other people of being me ever since. Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called -Alex-. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name -Alex-~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
