Speedy deletion nomination of Benutzer:일성강
[edit]A tag has been placed on Benutzer:일성강 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. - Thereppy, Rather than copying and pasting and then deleting the page needed to be moved to the correct place. I have done this. -- GB fan 18:58, 4 November 2016 (UTC)
Want to help shape the future of the Wikipedia editing experience?
[edit]Hi 일성강,
The Design Research team at the Wikimedia Foundation is currently seeking relatively newcomer Wikipedians for user studies about their experience with current editing tools and to test out some prototype editing tools. If you’re interested in helping to shape the future of editing on Wikipedia, we would love to have you participate! The study session will take approximately 30 minutes, maximum of 45 minutes.
The study will take place in the next couple weeks, and will require participants to have access to a webcam and microphone (or a laptop with built in cam & mic), with a quiet place to go for a research session. To participate, please email dchen[at]wikimedia.org and include the following information:
- Username
- Email where we can reach you
- Your city or time zone
- Best time to talk to you
Please let me know if you have any questions! Look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Daisy Chen

Wikipedia and copyright
[edit]Hello 일성강, and welcome to Wikipedia. All or some of your addition(s) to Altaic languages have been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. However, there are steps that must be taken to verify that license before you do. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 21:22, 18 December 2016 (UTC)
please unblock my account
[edit]일성강 (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
I am really sorry for makeing problems, but i am not a sockpuppet of Kumasojin. I made the account Kumasojin for the son of my brother, but i think he is not active in wikipedia anymore. I do not want to harm wikipedia, and i ask sincerely for an unblock of my account. I really like wikipedia and i want to help to improve it. I am not a human that want to create vandalism. I will do my best to help wikipedia and the community. I deaply apologize for the issue and hope that we can find a solution. I am ready to accept every decision whatever it will be. Thankfully 일성강 (talk) 19:28, 6 February 2017 (UTC)
Decline reason:
You have edited almost all the same articles edited by Kumasojin 熊襲. Hard to believe you two are totally different persons. Even if you were, you were violating WP:FAMILY. Your WP:BROTHER defense does not look plausible in this case. Vanjagenije (talk) 23:08, 6 February 2017 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- I can understand that, but I have not edited almost the same articles as Kumasojin, maybe 5 or 6. But I understand that this is a violate against WP:FAMILY. I have not read about that carefully. I am sorry for that. But is there any way to return to the wikipedia community? I have never harmed wikipedia and i would not do in future. Thank you for your response. 일성강 (talk) 13:38, 7 February 2017 (UTC)
- Try discussing with the blocking admin . If that fails, you can try contacting the WP:ARBCOM. Vanjagenije (talk) 18:45, 7 February 2017 (UTC)
- See this discussion for evidence of block evasion.--Bbb23 (talk) 19:34, 7 February 2017 (UTC)
- Thank you both for your response. 일성강 (talk) 20:41, 7 February 2017 (UTC)
ANI Experiences survey
[edit]Beginning on November 28, 2017, the Wikimedia Foundation Community health initiative (Safety and Support and Anti-Harassment Tools team) will be conducting a survey to en.wikipedia contributors on their experience and satisfaction level with the Administrator’s Noticeboard/Incidents. This survey will be integral to gathering information about how this noticeboard works - which problems it deals with well, and which problems it struggles with.
The survey should take 10-20 minutes to answer, and your individual responses will not be made public. The survey is delivered through Google Forms. The privacy policy for the survey describes how and when Wikimedia collects, uses, and shares the information we receive from survey participants and can be found here:
If you would like to take this survey, please sign up on this page, and a link for the survey will be mailed to you via Special:Emailuser.
