Thank you for this very wonderful welcome, but I have editing skills in the Arabic Wikipedia, So you do not need to worry too much, but do not deal with me on the language side, because my mother tongue is Arabic. علي العالم (talk) 23:15, 3 April 2021 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Amir Al-Ammari
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Amir Al-Ammari requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Speedy deletion nomination of Zina Daher
[edit]Hello علي العالم,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Zina Daher for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!
Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

The article Mohammed Nassif has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Footballer who fails GNG and NFOOTY
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. BlameRuiner (talk) 13:19, 9 November 2021 (UTC)

Why? The article is a good. علي العالم (talk) 00:11, 18 June 2022 (UTC)
- Take a look at WP:BIO. The appropriate section, WP: JOURNALIST linked above, gives the criteria for notability. I see no evidence that Ayyad meets these criteria:Authors, editors, journalists, filmmakers, photographers, artists, architects, and other creative professionals:
- The person is regarded as an important figure or is widely cited by peers or successors; or
- The person is known for originating a significant new concept, theory, or technique; or
- The person has created or played a major role in co-creating a significant or well-known work or collective body of work. In addition, such work must have been the primary subject of multiple independent periodical articles or reviews, or of an independent and notable work (for example, a book, film, or television series, but usually not a single episode of a television series); or
- The person's work (or works) has: (a) become a significant monument, (b) been a substantial part of a significant exhibition, (c) won significant critical attention, or (d) been represented within the permanent collections of several notable galleries or museums.

Articles for creation
[edit]Previously the Draft:Wirt (Over the Garden Wall) was missing the standard AFC template, I have gone ahead and added it. When you are ready simply hit the button that says "submit the draft for review!" if accepted a reviewer will handle the rest, if declined the reviewer will explain why the page is not yet ready for mainspace so you can redress the issues and submit again. 2601:5CC:8300:A7F0:6C18:E506:2DA2:2A75 (talk) 16:31, 3 May 2024 (UTC)

- Hi friend, if I add a reference but it can be edit, can it be a good reference to add? علي العالم (talk) 18:22, 3 May 2024 (UTC)
- Hi @علي العالم, you'd need significant coverage of Wirt as the character in independent reliable references. Your current references mostly talk about the TV show. Qcne (talk) 18:33, 3 May 2024 (UTC)
- I added some references, can you see them? علي العالم (talk) 18:41, 3 May 2024 (UTC)
- I am afraid most of those references don't work:
- Emertainment Monthly: Brief mention of Wirt, not WP:SIGCOV.
- An interview with other cast members.
- Just a database listing.
- I have no idea what this is, a blog applying personality types to fictional characters? It's not reliable in any case.
- This source is okay.
- The same as source number 2.
- Qcne (talk) 18:45, 3 May 2024 (UTC)
- Am I need to delete the wrong refrences or no? And the 3rd reference in this list may be good, because it has many informations about the character. What do you think? علي العالم (talk) 18:52, 3 May 2024 (UTC)
- Database listings don't count towards notability unfortunately.
- I'd recommend having a read of our notability requirements at WP:N which explain what we need to prove a topic merits a Wikipedia article.
- We'd need a minimum of three sources that demonstrate all of the following:
- From reliable places (i.e. newspapers, journalists, etc - not Reddit or Twitter)
- Secondary to the subject (not from Cartoon Network)
- Provide significant coverage
- Qcne (talk) 18:55, 3 May 2024 (UTC)
- Are all these kinds are not available in the draft or some of them, and can you search to find good references else with me? And thank you. علي العالم (talk) 19:07, 3 May 2024 (UTC)
- Only source #5 works in your current draft, as I mentioned before none of the other sources contribute to notability.
- It might just be that Wirt as a character is not notable enough to merit an article? You could improve the existing Over the Garden Wall article instead? Qcne (talk) 19:09, 3 May 2024 (UTC)
- I don’t think that. Actually, there is many characters (from CN or not) have enough popular and don’t have articles in English Wikipedia. علي العالم (talk) 19:13, 3 May 2024 (UTC)
- If they meet our notability criteria they merit an article. Currently, unfortunately, your sources do not prove notability yet. Qcne (talk) 19:15, 3 May 2024 (UTC)
- Hi! I added 2 references, do you think they are good? علي العالم (talk) 19:38, 3 May 2024 (UTC)
- The Wiki cannot be used - we do not allow sources to fandom Wikis. They are not reliable.
- The latimes is an average source - it is an interview with the creator so is not independent. Qcne (talk) 19:48, 3 May 2024 (UTC)
- But I didn’t add fandom wiki in these 2 sources, and can I add sources like:«OTGW | the name of the episode»? And I want to tell you a thing about the sources, there are some sources I get it from the articles of Wikipedia, so can they be good sources? Or they will not? علي العالم (talk) 20:30, 3 May 2024 (UTC)
- Hi @علي العالم, I'm not sure I understand the question. Could you re-phrase it? Qcne (talk) 09:00, 4 May 2024 (UTC)
- Hmmm, can you see the sources again? And some of these sources I got it from some articles at Wikipedia. علي العالم (talk) 10:23, 4 May 2024 (UTC)
- The only new source I see is geekz.444.hu which only briefly mentions Wirt. Qcne (talk) 10:59, 4 May 2024 (UTC)
- But, it is not very important to mentions briefly mentions Wirt, it is important just to be good sources, and mention the informations. علي العالم (talk) 11:07, 4 May 2024 (UTC)
- Frankly, I see that there are 4 or 5 good sources in the draft. علي العالم (talk) 11:08, 4 May 2024 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, I disagree. To prove notability your sources must follow the golden rule. You have one source that does that, we need three. Qcne (talk) 11:09, 4 May 2024 (UTC)
- Is Los Anglos times is a good source? علي العالم (talk) 11:10, 4 May 2024 (UTC)
- It's not independent, as it is an interview with McHale who is the creator of the character. Qcne (talk) 11:12, 4 May 2024 (UTC)
- But this can be good, because it can be else give informations about the character, and also, LAtimes is a newspaper, so it can be a good sources, and can you see 8th, 9th and 10th sources? Because I think one or 2 of them are good sources. علي العالم (talk) 11:18, 4 May 2024 (UTC)
- The issue is that you have not proven the character is "notable" by our standards. To prove notability the character must meet the following criteria:
- - Significant coverage in multiple (usually at least three) independent reliable secondary sources that provides commentary/discussion/debate/analysis.
- This excludes things like: interviews with the creator or actor (not independent); Fandom sites or blogs (not reliable); Database listings or very brief mentions (not significant coverage).
- What is source #8? It just shows OTGW | Into the Unknown for me. Is that the episode title? You cannot reference the episode itself to prove notability, for hopefully obvious reaons.
- Source #9 is an interview, so cannot prove notability.
- Source #10 is the LA Times source I've already reviewed. Qcne (talk) 11:23, 4 May 2024 (UTC)
- I added a source you can see it. علي العالم (talk) 11:35, 4 May 2024 (UTC)
- TVTropes cannot be used as a source, sorry. See WP:RSPTVTROPES . Qcne (talk) 11:37, 4 May 2024 (UTC)
- I added a source you can see it. علي العالم (talk) 11:35, 4 May 2024 (UTC)

Detective Fix moved to draftspace
[edit]Thanks for your contributions to Detective Fix. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Hitro talk 06:38, 4 May 2024 (UTC)

Introduction to contentious topics
[edit]You have recently edited a page related to the Arab–Israeli conflict, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

- refrain from gaming the system.
Additionally, you must be logged-in, have 500 edits and an account age of 30 days, and are not allowed to make more than 1 revert within 24 hours on a page within this topic.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.
