Stefano Giannotti moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Stefano Giannotti. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Jannatulbaqi (talk) 18:04, 19 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:26, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Joshua Rich moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Joshua Rich. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability, it is promotional and reads like an advertisement and No indication of notability is asserted in the article, and there is insufficient sourcing. Links to directories of discographies aren't sufficient or significant. Did any of these albums actually chart, or did he otherwise satisfy the criteria for WP:NMUSIC. Incubate and improve in draft space, please. Also, change instances of "Joshua did X" to "Rich did X", per our Manual of Style.. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit for review" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. BastunĖġáḍβáś₮ŭŃ! 23:26, 20 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Joshua Rich

[edit]

Hello, Марко Станојевић,

Thank you for creating Joshua Rich.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

The Articles for Creation process should have been followed. Much better sourcing is still needed. Peacock terms and sources that weren't reliable have been removed. Citation needed tags added. Specifically, I still have notability concerns. Have any of the subject's musical releases actually charted? Is there anything to indicate WP:NMUSIC is satisfied?

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Bastun}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.

@Bastun: Thank you for your response and help. I have been actively editing Wikipedia in Serbian for 14 years, and since June, I've been more active on the English version as well. The conditions for references on the English Wikipedia are a bit more rigorous compared to smaller languages, so I'm still getting used to it. I mainly wanted to edit articles about musicians who specialize in jazz and classical music, but there are far fewer references available for them because the music itself isn't as popular as, for example, pop. As for this specific article, the problem is that Joshua created a lot of work in the 1980s and 1990s, a time when the internet in its current form didn't exist. In any case, I will do my best to find references for the sentences you've flagged. --Марко Станојевић (talk) 16:02, 27 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Non-attributed translations

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you translated text from sr:https://sr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Радослава_Воргић to Radoslava Vorgić. While you are welcome to translate Wikipedia content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing requires that you provide attribution to the contributor(s) of the original article. When translating from a foreign-language Wikipedia article, this is supplied at a minimum in an edit summary on the page where you add translated content, identifying it as a translation and linking it to the source page. Sample wording for this is given here. If you forgot, or were not aware of this requirement, attribution must be given retroactively, for example:

NOTE: Content in the edit of 01:25, January 25, 2023 was translated from the existing French Wikipedia article at [[:fr:Exact name of French article]]; see its history for attribution.

Retroactive attribution may be added using a dummy edit; see Repairing insufficient attribution. It is good practice, especially if translation is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{translated page}} template on the talk page of the destination article. If you have added translated content previously which was not attributed at the time it was added, you must add attribution retrospectively, even if it was a long time ago. You can read more about author attribution and the reasons for it at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. Ibjaja055 (talk) 13:53, 3 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of jazz pianists, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Peter Knudsen.
