Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, "jonlabelle". We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{edit COI}} template)—don't forget to give details of reliable sources supporting your suggestions;
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicizing, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. KylieTastic (talk) 09:44, 7 October 2024 (UTC)

[edit]{{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}
. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 09:53, 7 October 2024 (UTC)- I'm not pandering or soliciting. I only entered the information about my book first before being able to update anything else. I have a book with the ISBN 9780308480513 Named 'A Story, An Epic, and Some Poetry...' The title is very literal, and I broke down the description with use of links throughout Wikipedia to teach upon subjects. It was a lot of hard work and there is no personal gain because all roads lead to A.) Me, Jonathan LaBelle, the author. Or B.) The book that is 'A Story, An Epic, And Some Poetry...' the fact that I created 'A Story, Bunker Madness', 'An Epic, Between The Void', 'And Some Poetry' is because as the title of the larger piece suggests 'A Story, An Epic, And Some Poetry... are indeed separate sections in which I took the time to elaborate on. Again, this wouldn't be known unless you were on my name of the books page. Not advertising, I own a website for that. Just using Wikipedia for its full use, to educate. I just had to do this in a way that didn't spoil or ruin my plot to avoid a future lawsuit if someone had. Please kindly repost my pages. I truly mean well.
