User:"Poet Samir Darwish", your "userpage", has been deleted under the "WP:U5" reason for speedy deletion; there appears to be an article on the Arabic Wikipedia that it was translated from.

Hi Poet Samir Darwish.

As an administrator here, I can see that there has never been an English language Wikipedia page of the exact name Samir Darwish.

I do note that there is an article about an Egyptian poet on the Arabic language Wikipedia (which is in written in Modern Standard Arabic) which matches the details on your (now deleted) userpage. I also note that your userpage would appear to be translation of that Arabic Wikipedia article - ar:سمير_درويش.

I see you made one change to the English language Wikipedia on 25 July 2004, your now deleted userpage, and then pretty much disappeared.

I'll ask around and see if a Samir Darwish article should be created.

If you are that Egyptian poet, while writing about yourself is strongly discouraged it would be best practice to create a "draft" (in this case, Draft:Samir Darwish) instead, so that other editors can assess its suitability for inclusion on the English language Wikipedia.

Please do let me know if I can assist you with this, or anything else related to the English language Wikipedia.
