Hi there! I noticed you had reverted an edit on the So You Think You Can Dance Canada article earlier today. That article is continuously vandalized (not by users but by IP addresses, though often consistent IP addresses). The vandalism is evidently because people do not agree with the results, but it is constant (and really irritating to fix). They are playing with the names, the results and erasing information that is honestly, quite difficult to find. Would you mind helping me keep an eye on the article? Thanks for the consideration. For reverting vandalism on my talk page! Rtyq2 (talk) 19:13, 20 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

jeff - how are edits to a talk page vandalism? seriously? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.51.219.211 (talk) 07:32, 24 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"get a life" in this edit was a personal attack, and asking here without signing was poor form.   — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 07:46, 24 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

fair enough. my bad. can we make some note that swish has not played for NY and may never? the roster has lots of holes and ???s. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.51.219.211 (talk) 07:48, 24 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps some referenced note that he was signed would suffice.   — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 07:50, 24 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I did a revert after you but I think we were both trying to revert the same edits. Not sure which version is better.

Thank you for notifying me - I think I'm happier with your version than I am with the version to which I reverted. Good to see someone else helping out this morning! All the best. Bobo. 02:03, 8 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

??

i don't understand what the problem is?

HarvardHealthEcon (talk) 07:34, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Misunderstanding. You deleted a large portion of text without an edit summary explaining why and I mistook your edits for vandalism. Happy editing! --Faradayplank (talk) 07:42, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy Deletion

I was unsure as to why the page 'Episode 1: First Blood' was deleted.

Could you please provide a more detailed insight.

I also feel it was unfair to the time in which I was given to explain or reply. My internet connection is very poor.

Many thanks.

It did not meet Wikipedia's notability requirements. Have a look at Wikipedia:Your first article for more information. --Faradayplank (talk) 19:22, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hey

Sorry about the "Vandalism" It wont happen again... my friend wrote that. He was playing with Wikipedia...I told him to use the sandbox from now on. Thank you for "quick reverting" it... ~Jeff gordon fan xD —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.221.113.187 (talk) 22:10, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello

Hello, I am wondering why my listing is being flagged as an advert. Even by wikipedia standards Dr Shad Helmstetter is a notable resource. He is a very popular author (13 books in publication) as well as a noted speaker. He has been on the Oprah Winfrey Show, CNN, Fox and many other such shows. I see that Tony Robbins has a page as well and they are both very similar in subject. My article is NOT an attempt to advertise.

I'm not sure why Selftalk has brought this to you - I tagged the article in question. I've replied to him on his page. --Tagishsimon (talk) 23:22, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

the page reprehensable

Moved this from my userpage to here: "I'm the creator of the page reprehensable which is a real word and not in a foreign language. It was a very serious addition to wikipedia and should not have been deleted. Type in reprehensable at dictionary.com I did not copy that article, but got my gist idea from there. You are mean." improving vandalism speed

IMO, the best thing to do while using Huggle is to just leave anything you have a question about. That not only improves your speed, but also your accuracy. Huggle makes it very easy to mess up royally, so a good rule of thumb is to err on the side of caution if you have any question about whether something is vandalism. Windows

No probs! Actually it was all done manually, no software! Sad, I know, but it was a welcome mindless distraction from a very busy period at work! fiftyquid (talk) 17:50, 23 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I am wondering why I am getting a message of immediate flag for deletion when there is no way you have had a chance to verify that what I submitted is truly valid, verifiable and meets the required wiki criteria. I am writing about a company that offers programs completely different than any other company and for that reason it should not be deleted. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jusmemolly (talkcontribs) 05:29, 26 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Need your help restoring my article.

Hello. I posted an article about MoGiZ.com that was purely factual and not meant to be an advertisement. I posted links that referenced other sites regarding the facts, and it was still deleted. What do I need to do to restore the article? Thank you! Jusmemolly (talk) 18:14, 27 June 2008 (UTC) Molly[reply]

Someone already posted a reply in regards to this on your talk page which is nearly identical to what I would have said.--Faradayplank (talk) 02:53, 28 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Redneck -> Redneck (stereotype) disambiguation

I don't see why you had your bot change all the links from Redneck to Redneck (stereotype), because Redneck (stereotype) redirects to Redneck. I undid three that were on my watchlist, but I don't have neither the time nor the patience to go through all the rest of the links. (Zachary) 03:05, 8 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please see Wikipedia:Disambiguation_pages_with_links/Maintenance#General_list Maintenance links, which at the time, had 212 links. The page move happened after my bot did the dab Revision history of Redneck (stereotype) and Revision history of Redneck. At the time all those links pointed to a dab page, some small number of which weren't to Redneck (stereotype) and needed to be corrected regardless of the move. In any case, unless I'm missing something, a user is taken to the page the article intended. If there is a good reason I'd be happy to go change them from Redneck (stereotype) -> Redneck. For reference I agree with the page move. Faradayplank (talk) 06:09, 8 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for reverting the vandalism to my user page. It is very much appreciated! Cheers! Apparition11 (talk) 07:06, 19 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
