[edit]- Jeanette Winterson and her novel Sexing the Cherry has been of great attraction to me as a grad student and future aspiring scholar. The redefining characteristics that the author uses in the story of The Twelve Dancing Princesses is refreshing and offers a different perspective of gender relations than ones previously held in American society.
