Appearance
If you don't want to enter the To VE or not to VE argument, you can add this userbox at your userpage. Well, think about this:
- What will a newbie do when they're presented with a long page of complex code? They will simply give up and leave. VisualEditor is like a life buoy for them.
- What will a veteran Wikipedian do when they're presented with a long user-friendly form when trying to add a reference? They will simply become bored and leave. VisualEditor is like a set of training wheels on a bike which is just useless for a person who knows how to ride a bike.
VE has its advantages and disadvantages. Simply claiming "VE rocks" or "VE sucks" is not enough.
Usage
[edit]- Put this Userbox on your userpage like this: {{User:Zhaofeng Li/Userboxes/Neutral-VE}}
- If you want to show "This user" instead of your username, set the argument "noname" to "y": {{User:Zhaofeng Li/Userboxes/Neutral-VE|noname=y}}
