However, an attitude expressed by many modern day anarchists is that regardless of what political system is in power "law" is never blind nor impartial when it is enforced and in fact they would hold that all law is nothing but the codification of current and acceptable prejudices against the already disenfranchised. This concept which has profound implications for both modern and future human society has, at best, only been attempted to be dealt with by the concept called "legitimacy". Legitimacy refers to, among other things, whether or not Law, in its most abstract ideal, is anything but the moist pathetic of guide for any thinking and feeling human being attempting to deal with the real ethical issues he or she is confronted with during their life time. For obviously what has been illegal in the past, or legal in the present is not necessarily an indication that law is in any way infallible in that past, in the present or in the the future yet to be nor are the most fundamental of laws the same throughout all cultures. And while a society such as China makes capital offenses of so many violations of their imposed societal "norms"; a society such as the United States deals with similar violations by having the largest prison system in the World.

The irony here is that both these seemingly antithetical nations, who share this nightmarish surrealism with each other, are engaged in obvious War Crimes against their own people as well as with the innocent citizens of other Nations. It might be further noted that ALL these cited actions have one common thread. An adherence to a "philosophy of law" with all but the smallest of State governments. Purportedly civilized countries and cultures whose rulers are virtually indistinguishable from one another and who do everything morally reprehensible to have this "Rule of Law" defined as a sacred order. An "order" which should be maintained and imposed on all of humanity and at all cost rather than acknowledging the obvious threat unquestioning obedience to Law itself has now brought to a planet which is insignificant to the point of infinity to the Universe that houses it. And an order that has caused such unbearable legal, and equally as abhorrent, so much preventable human misery that any many anarchists today considers this deification of Law in any way what so ever to be the most depraved form of inconceivable and obvious...collective madness.
