Biography
[edit]Shane Burrell was born in 1980 in Penrith, Australia. He now lives in Newcastle, Australia. After graduating high school in a small rural city Dubbo, Shane started a business in post-production called Industrial Media Worx. This business provides digital editing, 3d animation and compositing services. In 2001, Shane moved to Newcastle to join his brother Luke Burrell. Together they created a design studio called Mezzanine-media. He quickly become known as an excellent collaborator with a sharp eye for cinematic imagery and technical excellence.
In 2011, Shane launched a new post-production company called Final Post. It was this business that allowed him to expand and provide world-class services to the film industry.
As a colourist, Shane has worked on many feature films and documentaries over the years. Primarily working on Filmworkz (Digital Vision) NUCODA and DaVinci Resolve.
