This is the sandbox page where you will draft your initial Wikipedia contribution.
If you're starting a new article, you can develop it here until it's ready to go live. If you're working on improvements to an existing article, copy only one section at a time of the article to this sandbox to work on, and be sure to use an edit summary linking to the article you copied from. Do not copy over the entire article. You can find additional instructions here. Remember to save your work regularly using the "Publish page" button. (It just means 'save'; it will still be in the sandbox.) You can add bold formatting to your additions to differentiate them from existing content. |
Wiki Edits : Hannah Wilke Article
[edit]Edits in "Critical Recognition" Section:
- Some bias in paragraph. "During her lifetime, Wilke was widely exhibited, and although controversial, received critical praise." Writer states work is controversial, has no source stating so/ sounds like personal opinion. Could be worded better so avoid stating as a fact.
Edit To : "During her lifetime, Wilke was widely exhibited and received critical praise while also viewed as controversial."
- "Wilke's work, with its confrontational use of female sexuality and the fact that it does not fit into a distinct genre or style, was in very few permanent collections when she was alive." No source to provide the "fact" that Wilke's work doesn't fit into a genre/style. Could be worded differently to transition into next points.
Edit To : "While still alive, Wilke's work was in a few permanent collections, showcasing the confrontational use of the female sexuality."
