Sasori, officially the Department Capital of Sasori, is the third-largest city in terms of population and the fourth-largest city in terms of area in the state of Paka, and the nineteenth-largest city in Eralitia overall. Sasori is the capital of the department of the same name. It's situated 35 kilometres north of the border between Paka and Joso.

Sasori was founded in the year 1504 A.F.E by Yamamoto Juro (b. 1458 A.F.E), after the great Amo fire in 1497 A.F.E burned down the most of the department of Amo. Yamamoto named the city Sasori because his wife, Yamamoto Aoi (b. 1463 A.F.E), owned various scorpions in her youth, with Sasori (サソリ) meaning scorpion in Japanese.

Sasori is divided into 23 districts, which are categorised into 4 different categories: industrial districts, commercial districts, entertainment districts, and residential districts. fourteen of the districts are residential districts, three are industrial districts, three are commercial districts, and three are entertainment districts. The city is most well known for the entertainment districts, the Gekko District, the Go'on District, and the Tonbo District.

Sports

Sasori has several association football teams, with two competing in the Paka State League: FC Mushiki Sasori and FC Matenro Sasori. Mushiki is one of the most succesful Pakanese clubs, winning multiple State League titles. They play their home games at the Old Soda Factory and was founded in 1674 A.F.E by the working class employees of the Soda Factory, located in the Himura District. It quickly became the most popular and succesful club of the city. In the year 1682 A.F.E, Matenro was founded by the upper class citizens of Sasori, who due to class discrimination, thought that the working class Mushiki was unworthy of the city. They play their home games at the Roswald J. Stadium and currently hold the record of the lowest total number of points in a single season (6) and fewest number of games won in a season (none) in any of the State Leagues.

Airport
The Hato Airport, situated a few kilometres south of the Hato District, is the fifth-largest airport in the state of Paka and provides flights to and from most large airports in Western Eralitia.

Sasori is well connected to the rest of the West-Eralitia Railway Network and has several train stations connecting it with the rest of Western Eralitia:

Sasori has its own metro system called the S-LINE since 1681 A.F.E. consisting of eight different lines. The Sasori Metro Network spans across the entire city and there are 225 stations.
