Rectrix Aviation
[edit]Rectrix Aviation is a premium private jet, aircraft management and fixed-based operations services company, it is one of the largest Massachusetts private charter company owning its aircraft fleet and private aviation terminal services or fixed based operations (FBOs).
The Rectrix Aviation division entered the commuter market after identifying an opportunity to offer new passenger service to the popular Hyannis-Nantucket route. The planes are easily recognized by their bold blue tails marked with a recognizable red ‘R’ for Rectrix.
History

[edit]On November 4th 2015; Rectrix Aviation purchased Five Star Jet Center at Westfield-Barnes Regional Airport and announced plans to expand its services and staff at the airport, making it the only fixed base operator or FBO at the Westfield-Barnes. [1]
On October 14th 2016; Richard Cawley, Rectrix's chief executive officer, announced that it intends to offer a daily commercial flight from Worcester Regional Airport to Baltimore Washington International Airport within the next year.[2]
On March 6th 2017; Rectrix Commercial Aviation Services announced that its Aerodrome Center located at L.G. Hanscom Field Airport in Bedford, Mass. (BED) is now an approved “gateway FBO” for general And corporate aviation flights to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA). Approved operators may now use Rectrix at BED as their departure point into DCA.[3]
