Suez Canal Problem is Fixed
The problem which has persisted for nearly a week has finally been rid of.
What happened?
[edit]On March 23, 2021, the Suez Canal was blocked by a grounded ship called the Ever Given for a total of six days. 369 requests to pass through the canal were issued by March 28. It was partially refloated on March 29, and later that day, at 13:05 (UTC), it was moved towards the Great Bitter Lake to be inspected for damages.
Other details
[edit]There is no known cause of why the ship was grounded. What is known however is that the ship was grounded in the sands in a diagonal fashion that made the ships unable to pass through. Another known fact is that the incident is considered a "worse case scenario" sequence, and could even be called "The Second Suez Crisis."
