Amiri Dexter Chase (born February 6, 2004), known professionally as Rich Amiri, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. He rose to popularity within the late months of 2023 with his hit singles "Aint Nothing" and "Codeine Crazy" which gained traction throughout social media and SoundCloud. He is currently signed to Internet Money and 10K projects.
Career
[edit]He began freestyling at the lunch table in school but didn't record for the first time until he had access to his friends’ makeshift studio, which consisted of Apple headphones and GarageBand. He initially gained traction with his inaugural record "For Me," and eventually gained more recognition with the release of his track "Relocate." In December 2021, he released his track "Walk In".
In 2022, he released tracks "Can’t Die," "Ruthless," "Geneva," with peers like Slump6s ("Havoc") and Iayze ("Jumpin"). In 2023, Amiri released the single "Poppin," featuring Lil Tecca, ahead of his upcoming album Evolution. He then would release his new album "Ghetto Fabulous". This album has some of Amiri's most famous unreleased songs such as "WHAT IT COST", "FORZA FREESTYLE", as well as including singles released in early 2023 such as "AINT NOTHING", "ONE CALL", and "CODEINE CRAZY" all of which had no features. Musical style
[edit]Rich Amiri cites Future, Speaker Knockerz, Lil Keed, and YoungBoy Never Broke Again as his influences.[5]
