- Competitive EDH, also known as cEDH is distinct form of EDH with the "same rules as normal commander...It differs from casual commander in that it does not have budget, power level, or social contract restrictions on the strategies it employs." [1] It's often differentiated from casual Commander and "tends to be more explicitly labeled." CEDH favors forgoing the social contracts of EDH, instead trying to make use of the most efficient strategies to win. [2]
