The Angelou Centre is a charity in the West End of Newcastle in the North East of England, UK. ^[1]

It specifically focuses on providing Black, Asian, minority ethnic and refugee women with training, personal development, counselling, legal advice for immigration and domestic violence. ^[2]

The director of the centre is Umme Imam.^[3] She was part of the collective of women activists who founded the centre in 1993.^[4]
