I an assistant professor at Duke University and practicing at Duke University Hospital, with a specialization in gastrointestinal and bone/soft tissue pathology. I also sign out on our autopsy and molecular services. Some of my research interests lie in Circular RNA biology, which I studied in the laboratory of Dr. Norman Sharpless during my Ph.D., and more recently Oxford Nanopore's MinION and Flongle sequencing systems as a tool for rapid identification of fusion oncogenes.
