William Sutcliff was a circuit rider in the Methodist Church of Great Britain.

In 1820, he was assigned to the Melbourne circuit.[1] In 1821, he was assigned to the Caldwell Manor circuit.[2] The circuit was newly created that year; at the end of the year, the circuit had fifty-two church members.[3]
