About me

[edit]

I am WikisNickiMinaj, and I am a student enrolled in English 101. I’m interested in veterinary science, cars, and being in the automotive industry in the future. I’m a fan of the “inside” of things--whether that be animals or automobiles. I like the way things work and figuring out how to fix them. I was recently given a free project car from a neighbor, a 1999 Ford Escort ZX2 coupe, that had been sitting under a tree for 10 years. When I’m not slaving away at my retail job or my college courses, I spend the rest of my time diagnosing and fixing this sad little car. I also own a 1992 Ford F150, which only has a V6, but at least it’s a stick shift. F150s are one of the best-selling vehicles in America.[1] This truck does run, but it’s a piece of work I might sell to focus on my Escort. I gave up my childhood dream of being a veterinarian, because in all honesty, there’s too much school for too little money, especially in this economy. So, I’m focused on trying to enter the automotive industry as a young woman (particularly difficult if you’re not aware that this industry is dominated by men).

My Wikipedia interests

[edit]

On Wikipedia, I like to learn more about certain car models, manufacturers, and engines. I feel like I’m starting a collection of ‘50-’90s car books, instead, I could look up any car I desire on this website to learn more about make and models I’m interested in. Owning all of these books, though, I would like to see what I can add to the current (or not yet created) Wikipedia pages. I hope I can contribute more information to help others learn more about these works of art on wheels.
