Datamonitor is an international company originating in the United Kingdom which publishes market research on a number of different industries. It is a division of Informa plc, a United Kingdom-based publisher and conference company.
Overview
[edit]The company was founded in 1989 by Mike Danson with its first report covering the UK Frozen Food Industry. The company gradually expanded and acquired other market research companies until it was acquired by Informa in 2007 for £502m.[1]
