[edit]Clara Nieblas is a Chicana artist,[1] art educator,[2] and body positive influencer[3].
Biography
[edit]Nieblas is from Eastern Coachella Valley and attended Humboldt State University as an Art Education Major [3]. They are a figurative artist [2] known for their work based on personal and family experiences[1]. They are also known for being a body positive figure on Instagram.[3]
Career
[edit]Nieblas’s work was featured in a gallery titled “Outburst Project” at the Palm Springs Art Museum from August 6, 2022, to January 29, 2023[1]. She was invited alongside three other artists to exhibit with Gabriella Ruiz, another Outburst Project artist [1]. Nieblas also taught an art workshop in the Palm Springs Art Gallery based on one of their pieces [2].
