User:White Arabian Filly/Pageviews

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I created this because I was interested in finding out just how many views the articles I've written get each month. I don't plan to check pageviews every month, but at least twice a year to check for seasonal variation. All numbers are from the pageviews tool and are the number of views the article had in the prior 30 days. None of the articles listed have been at DYK during the month in question.

Observations

[edit]
  • Horses are almost always more popular than the people who train them, even if the trainer is really famous and well-respected.
  • The more foals a stallion sired, the more popular his article is.
  • Stallions are more popular than geldings or mares.
  • Coon hunting is a lot more popular than I guessed. And I grew up with coon dogs and around a lot of coon hunters. A lot of people must have fond memories of Where the Red Fern Grows.
  • Midnight Sun beats Merry Go Boy!
