I originally started editing on Wikipedia because I got people complaining on the Tapestries MUCK entry here in various ways on the Tapestries MUCK Forums about the state of the article. After reviewing it and finding it to be factually incorrect, I got annoyed enough to do something about it. The annoyance was not helped my the fact that Tapestries MUCK is something I run.

I figured I didn't really need an account to fix one silly page, but since then I have started to find other pages that were in my areas of interest, mostly BDSM, that needed references or the like.

I also ended up setting up a MediaWiki as the Muck's home page. That gave me some exposure to how useful accounts on one could be.

So I finally got an account.
