Because the cast of the vlogs samples Dobrik's larger friend group, membership rotates on an ongoing basis. Because the cast is, at its core, a friend group, membership in the cast of the vlogs is amorphous.[1] The name "The Vlog Squad" was given to the group by their viewers and fans and eventually, the name stuck.

  • Suzy Antonyan - is Nick Antonyan's sister and is featured in David's Vlog rather infrequently.[6][7]
  • Vardan Antonyan - is Nick and Suzy Antonyan's younger brother and is featured only with his other siblings.[8][9]
  • David Dobrik - born July 23, 1996, a Slovak YouTube personality, founder of The Vlog Squad [10]
  • Ilya Fedorovich - born October 16, 1995, David's hometown friend and business developer.
  • Erin Gilfoy - born June 30, 1991, vlogger. She shares a Youtube channel with Carly Incontro as well a personal one and appears in her fiance TJ Petracca's Youtube channel[11][12]
  • Zane Hijazi - born November 18, 1992, American vlogger, actor (known for David's Vlog (2015), FML (2016) and Cringeworthy (2016), YouTuber.[13]
  • Heath Hussar - American actor, known for David's Vlog (2015), FML (2016) and Follow Japan!! (2018), vlogger filming his life with girlfriend Mariah and friends from the Vlog Squad, YouTuber [14]
  • Carly Incontro - born March 21, 1991, vlogger. She and Erin Gilfoy have a joint YouTube channel as well as a personal one.[15][12]

Speaking at the 2019 Streamy Awards, Dobrik said of winning the Ensemble Cast prize with The Vlog Squad, "Ensemble is like, my favorite one to win... [The nominations are] insane, and I can't say this enough—it's all because of these guys," he added. "I have a group of like, 15, 20, 30 friends, and they help me day in and day out with all the videos."[2]

In December 2020, Dobrik was named one of Forbes 30 Under 30 for the year 2021 under the category of social media as well as one of the featured honorees in that category.[24]

In August 2020, it was rumored that David Dobrik's is dating his assistant Natalie Mariduena.[25] In the same month Dobrik bought a $9.5 million mansion in Los Angeles.[26]

In December 2020, Dobrik was also named by Forbes as one of the highest-paid YouTube stars of 2020.[27] In the same month, two members Vlog Squad, Zane Hijazi and Heath Hussar, released a line of coffee that sold out in the first day of release.[28]

Controversy

In February 2021, David Dobrik was accused of sexual harassment by Seth Francois, a former Vlog Squad member.[29] In the same month, another former member Nik Keswani, who is better known as BigNik, accused Dobrik of bullying and stated that it was the reason he left the group in 2018.[30][31][32]
