Creative mastermind Wouter Janssen has been making music for over a decade. Born and raised in Eindhoven, he is part of DJ/producer duo Showtek together with Sjoerd Janssen, his younger brother. Always turning passion into creation, producing music shattered all expectations. A wiz kid perfectionist where ‘good is just never good enough’ and the will to succeed is paramount as he’s always looking for that ‘eureka’ moment. Pair that with an endless love for music, an extensive memory and lust for sports and you have Wouter.

Wouter and his brother exploded onto the dance scene following the release of major hits like ‘Cannonball’, ‘Booyah’ and ‘Bad’, the massive collaboration with dance royalty David Guetta. With gigs all over the world, big radio hits and an endless list of awards, his childhood dreams became reality. But that wasn’t enough. Wouter is also involved in several other interesting projects. He was involved in the writing and arrangement of tracks by artists like Tiësto, Marcel Woods and Allure. He has worked for megastars like Carly Rae Jepsen and Chris Brown, for which he produced ‘Nobody’s Perfect’.

In addition to being a part of Showtek, he is running his own record label SKINK together with his brother since 2014. SKINK released music of artists like Showtek, Eva Shaw, Quintino, twoloud and Bassjackers. He is also a co-owner of bookings- and management-agency 2-Dutch.
