This table is intended to explore what might contribute to editor retention in Wikimedia. It does so by collecting datapoints relating to editor retention.
Anyone is welcome to join in this exercise. Just identify and count a group of definable active editors in mid 2010, see how many of them also edited in August 2014, Then add a row to the table putting them in the appropriate sequence.
There is another version of this at User:WereSpielChequers/2012-2016 Editor retention test, both are still live, but they measure two different four year time periods.
Groups it would be good to measure and add here include:
- Editors who had FAs promoted in 2010
- Editors who were deletion tagging in 2010
- Editors who were active in particular projects in 2010
- Editors who reviewed GAs in 2010
