[edit]Garfeld "Garf Redden grew up in San Diego, California. His father, a lead singer played alongside Jake E Lee (Ozzy Osborne) in Teaser (which became the house band at the club Straita Head Sound) Garf, at the age of 10 was exposed to the Metal Glam Metal scene as he became the drum tech for them.[4] In years time Garf transplanted to Ohio. He was playing in cover bands and later even filed-in with Tommy Tutone in 2008-2010.[5]
As a teenager Randy's first exposure to Garf was when he was in Texbabies, as a fan. It wasn't too long after seeing Garf play, that Randy's own band, Fractured Mirror opened up for them.[6]
After a previous incarnation of One Day Alive (2010-2016) founder Tony Rossumano set out to assembled a new lineup in 2020.
Tony met Randy through a mutual friend and after writing a couple songs, the band grew. Scott joined shorty after. As the band was recording some tracks, Randy reached out to his teenage friend Garf to lay down some drum tracks. After that Garf was on board with the band. In 2022 Casey joined the band as a second lead guitarist.[7]
