Ian de Vries is an international student from The Netherlands. He was born on January 12th, 1991 and raised near Amsterdam. He moved to England at the age of 16 to attend an international boarding school in Oxford for 2 years. After spending his gap year studying filmmaking and screenwriting at the New York Film Academy and doing volunteer work and World Cup soccer analysis on TV for a national network in Ghana, he studied at the Cornell University College of Arts and Sciences and graduated in the fall of 2014 after 7 semesters with an Economics and Information Science double major. He now lives in Boston, and works as a software engineer and entrepreneur.
