User:Wd930/Talk Page
I put a link to my sandbox because I watched the tutorial.
I have converted this article that you created into a redirect to Extended periodic table. An article on the g block and on g orbitals was created in 2009 and after a lot of discussed it was agreed that everything that could be said about them was best said in the context of a possible extension to the periodic table. Until there is more evidence that the g orbitals are actually filled there is no need for this article. All previous versions now redirect to Extended periodic table, so it is best that this becomes just a redirect. --Bduke (Discussion) 02:49, 16 November 2010 (UTC)
Periodic table
[edit]Hi Wd930 you tried to convert the template, this is nice but you must have noted that the editing of a template is difficult and most of the time the result looks broken. Please try to change the Periodic table in a subpage of your page, for example here at User:Wd930/Periodic table.--Stone (talk) 23:08, 18 November 2010 (UTC)

- Also note that you're adding comments to discussions that happened in 2007 or so, and it's unlikely that others will be looking there for new discussion. If you want to discuss something relevant to the current state of the table, start a new section and mention the previous. Also always remember to sign your posts. It's difficult (and borderline disruptive to a discussion flow) if there are comments posted without knowing who posted them. DMacks (talk) 02:02, 2 December 2010 (UTC)
Hi Wd930. I left a comment for you at Template_talk:Periodic_table#Should_the_transactinide_category_be_included_as_an_additional_color_on_the_Wikipedia_table.3F. I feel bad for reverting your periodic table edits--especially since I suggested some similar changes earlier this year. It's good to have a consensus of editors agreeing with you on the talk page before you change something as important as the periodic table, and getting a consensus of editors to agree is not an easy thing. It's not enough to write what you want to do or what we could do. You need to try to convince other editors about why the change makes things better for the reader. Congratulations on learning so much about templates, tables, and colors, have fun here, and good luck! Flying Jazz (talk) 09:08, 2 December 2010 (UTC)
