It wasn't too long after Wikipedia exploded onto the scene, by having their pages listed in nearly every Google search for something, that I joined, in 2007. During the 2008 NFL Super Bowl with the New York Giants and New England Patriots, my family was researching the rules for the coaches challenges, we saw that the Wikipedia page, Instant replay in American and Canadian football had already been updated with an entry specifically naming Coach Bill Belichick's challenge. I realized how easy it was for Wikipedia to get changed and vandalized. I started making edits to pages, usually correcting/updating information, adding confirming links, or correcting spelling and grammatical errors.

Personal

WaltCD aka Walt Dittrich was born in New Jersey, however, his family moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1973 where he grew up and remains living to this day. He worked for twenty years for the North Las Vegas Police Department as a Corrections Officer, before being laid off due to a Reduction in Force. In April, 2017, he became a Corrections Officer for the City of Las Vegas Public Safety Department, working in Detention and Enforcement.

Dittrich was married in 1994 and has three children.
