British College of Applied Studies also known as BCAS is Private Educational Collage, started in 1999 in Kandy, it provides its students mainly with BTEC Higher National Diplomas qualifications

Currently BCAS is located in 6 different branches which are named after situating city/ town name certain Campuses only provide certain BTEC Edexcel Courses, so there are known also by their most significant course name

Awards and Recognition[edit]

BCAS has received recognition from ISO 9001 for quality management in 2011, also in June 2011 they have been awarded the outstanding Edexcel Center in Sri Lanka[1] [2]

Affiliations[edit]

BCAS has affiliated with many foreign university especially in the UK, the affiliations are for students who wish to complete their final year degree overseas, but the BTEC HND qualifications itself is recognized in many areas [3]
