User:Vivrax/Maintenance Codes

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This page is kind of a "dictionary" for Maintenance Codes - AKA codes (mostly if not only) I use for declaring what did I do in summaries, when dwelling through Wikipedia and making some maintenance actions.

    • RD - one or more references had been deleted
      • RDA - one or more references had been deleted, because of being written like an advert
      • RDB - one or more references had been deleted, because of 1) being to broadly specified (missing author, year or other key params) OR 2) cannot be found a second time because of 1 - this code also includes non-web resources, mostly journal publications
      • RDD - one or more references had been deleted, because of 1) being web resources AND 2) being offline AND 3) not being archived by the IA

      • RUO - one or more references had been updated from the original source, because of 1.1) being a web resource OR 1.2) being a physical resource (new editions, not reprints) AND 2) containing updated information, which is related to the article - if the content of the web resource had changed to some point, where it doesn't provide the information being cited in the article, RUA is used if applicable (if not, RDD)
      • RUA - one or more references had been updated from an archived version of the original because of 1) being a web resource AND 2) being offline AND 3) being archived by the IA
