Beth S. Wenger is an American writer and academic.
Life
[edit]Wenger took her first degree at Wesleyan University, before she went on to take Masters degrees at Columbia University and the Jewish Theological Seminary. She gained her doctorate from Yale University.[1] In 2010, Wenger published her book, "Review of History Lessons: The Creation of American Jewish Heritage"[2] in which she describes how American Jews have merged the traditions and culture of both Jewish and American values. She uses a wide vaiety of primary sources going back as far as George Washington's and Abraham Lincoln's time to show how the two traditions reinforce each other.[3]
