I select for the following criteria when buying silver coins:

  • High artistic value.
  • High grade.
  • Silver-like appearance, although colourful toning can be nice. In the late third century, I try to get the coins with the most remaining surface silver.

The numbers in brackets are the years or year-ranges in which coins were minted.
