Alfred Henry Haffenden (1895 - 11 January 1971) was an English writer and early activist for veganism.

Haffenden wrote books on politics, mysticism and religion for C. W. Daniel Company.[1] https://livesofthefirstworldwar.iwm.org.uk/lifestory/7060051

In November 1944 Haffenden attended the formation meeting of The Vegan Society that was held at the Attic Club, 144 High Holborn in London.[2]

Haffenden died in 1971.[3]
