User:VarunFEB2003/Template:Checkbox (Clickable)
This template produces a clickable box that when clicked gets checked and unchecked. This template should be used only in very rare cases where showing a clickable checkbox is absolutely necessary otherwise {{Checkbox}} or {{Checkbox (without check mark)}} should be used.

Parameters
This template has only 1 parameter which is used to determine the text to be written besides the button. However this too has a limitation - it can support only one word. You can only write one word besides the button which can say anything, for example - yes, no, maybe etc.
To use the name parameter type {{User:VarunFEB2003/Template:Checkbox (Clickable)|1=Word}}
replacing "word" with your word.

Limitations
This template has a lot of limitations due to which it is not recommended that it be used at every place a check box is required. It should be used only in very rare cases where showing a clickable checkbox is absolutely necessary.
- Limitation 1
- This template cannot be preceded by code that produces numeric and bulleted lists (

and*
). Preceding it by#
or*
will insert a highly nonsensical inputbox which will spoil the play. Therefore if you wish it to be preceded by a number or bullet please do so manually by typing 1, 2, 3 etc.. - Limitation 2
- This template's text feature i.e the text printed besides the button can hold only 1 word. See the parameters section above for more information.
- Limitation 3
- This template inserts some amount of space above and below where it is placed.
- Limitation 4
- This template is not viewed exactly same on mobile versions of Wikipedia.
