Appearance
Passione was an Italian restaurant at 10 Charlotte Street, in the Fitzrovia district of London, between 1999 and March 2009.[1] It gave its name to an Italian cookbook written by Gennaro Contaldo, a co-owner of the restaurant. Both featured a cooking style reflective of the Amalfi Coast, Contaldo's birthplace and with a focus on the best seasonal ingredients.
Passione was awarded 'Best Italian Restaurant 2005' by the Tio Pepe Restaurant Awards. The book won 'Gourmand World Cookbook - Best Italian Cuisine Book 2003.'
