Ted Ganung is an artist whose eclectic world music has been shaped and formed by embracing the different cultures he has experienced. Growing up in Honolulu, Ted played various instruments in different local reggae band’s, which have deeply influenced the music he composes now. The Debut EP “The Grass is Always Greener” was released Feb 12th by Kraak Records/Timewarp Music (Athens, Greece) and was featured as New and Noteworthy on the ITunes Reggae page with some of Reggae’s biggest legends.

Ted’s passion for social justice and peace led him to spend the summer of 2009 studying about Nuclear Weapons in Hiroshima Japan. It is no surprise that there is a social conscious within Ted’s music that ultimately pulls at the emotional strings of the listener.

Currently Ted is completely immersed in The New York City Music Scene. Constantly gigging, Ted clearly demonstrates a solid work ethic and natural born ability to perform. Summer plans include the release of a second Electro Dub EP "Pass The Light" July 19th 2010 by Kraak Records. Also Ted can be found DJing all summer at his favorite European Style Wine Bar, Winegasm.
