I'm an English lit scholar, with a focus in Rhetoric and Composion.

In edition to literary issues, I am passionately interested in economics. I am not academically credentialled in economics--I am an autodidact who has come to the subject later in life.

I served in the US Marine Corps as an officer and enlisted man over 15 years, and before becoming an academic owned a financial services firm managing $35 million in private investment funds.
