Ricky Tang (born 6th April 2004)[1] is a former Australian professional badminton player who is ranked 47th[2] in the world (juniors) as of 2021. He has won numerous Australian National Titles such as the Under 17 National Championship, as well as represented Australia in several international circuits E.g. World Junior Championships, 2018 and 2019 held in Canada and Russia respectively.
Biography
[edit]Regarded as the youngest player in Australian history to compete in the World Junior Championships by the age of 14, Tang has proved his debut not only competing in the World Junior Championships but also in other prestigious international events such as the Pan Pacific International Championships ( Perth ), Australian Junior International ( Melbourne ) Singapore Youth International ( Singapore ), Oceania Junior Championship ( Melbourne ) and many more.
