AIESEC Jordan
[edit][1]AIESEC is a global, non-political, independent, not-for-profit organization run by students and recent graduates of institutions of higher education. Its members are interested in world issues, leadership, and management.
The expansion of AIESEC in Jordan was envisioned by AIESEC International in 2005 and soon became a reality in 2006 with the support from AIESEC in the Netherlands and the efforts of 100 Jordanian students who started the early stages of the expansion.
Local Chapter
[edit]After the establishment in 2006, AIESEC in Jordan expanded to 2 local chapters; in the University of Jordan in Amman and the Yarmouk University in Irbid and currently AIESEC in Jordan exists in 5 Jordanian Universities in total; University of Jordan, Yarmouk University, PSUT, GJU and the Jordanian University for Science and Technology.
Members
[edit]As AIESEC in Jordan exists at Jordan’s top universities, our members are considered to be the top talent, hence have the following competencies:

Projects
[edit]On Entrepreneurship, CSR, Environmental Sustainability, Persons with Disability. Since the establishment, AIESEC in Jordan has initiated more than 5 different projects around such social and economic issues, these projects are run by AIESEC members and aim to increase awareness for Jordanian students about these issue.
uCan Project
[edit]Right in the heart of Jordan specifically in our offices in Amman U Can project was launched in January 2010, corresponding with our AIESEC values, U Can was innovated to expand the aspects of children’s way of thinking by offering them a unique opportunity based on critical non-academic issues which enlighten their learning experience and unleash their potential.
uCan Products:
- Summer Camp
Combining the learning experience with exchange element, schools host interns that runs the summer camp.
- International School Teachers Program
Enriching the learning experience in schools by upgrading the staff with highly qualified teachers, provided by “uCan” for a long term Access to Global Talent Program for a duration of one to two school semesters, which will boost the learning environment. Curriculum development, staff training or even student counseling are among the varied profiles present.
iGreen Project
[edit]“I Green” project is an initiative in the local office of AIESEC Amman that falls under the umbrella of AIESEC’s Global Exchange program, the project aims to provide interns that work under an issue related to Environmental Sustainability and work with AIESEC in its learning programs. iGreen Project objective is to raise awareness among Jordanian youth and the market about the issue of Environmental Sustainability, through our educational forums, activities and advocacy.

This targets University students, AIESEC members and the local market, which aims to raise awareness.
