Hello! I'm Tol. I mostly do project-focused/backlog work. I do write some articles, but I mostly write code. Feel free to leave me a message on my talk page — I appreciate feedback!
Following an RFC, the policy on restoration of adminship has been updated. All former administrators may now only regain the tools following a request at the Wikipedia:Bureaucrats' noticeboard within 5 years of their most recent admin action. Previously this applied only to administrators deysopped for inactivity.
Following a request for comment, a new speedy deletion criterion, T5, has been enacted. This applies to template subpages that are no longer used.
These licensing terms were last updated 14 June 2023, and are intended to be backward-compatible with all previous revisions. These terms cover all edits made by this account, User:Tol, and all alternative accounts as disclosed on this user page, including but not necessarily limited to User:TolBot and User:TolTest.
Use reasonable discretion in determining whether an edit constitutes a comment in a discussion. Edits to existing discussion comments are included. If there is any ambiguity in whether an edit is a comment, feel free to ask me.
For backward compatibility with previous versions of this licensing agreement, all text contributions before 1 April 2023 to pages which were at the time of my contribution either:
in the project namespace (namespace 4), or
in any talk namespace (positive odd numbered namespaces)
are discussion comments for the purpose of this section.
For working on this request. I also like your method of showing the diffs for edit requests - it's very creative! (Although I sure wish we had a way to do that automatically... I'm working on it!) Enterprisey (talk!) 07:07, 25 September 2021 (UTC)

The Tireless Contributor Barnstar
For reviewing at least 25 articles during the drive. Thank you for reviewing or re-reviewing 41 articles, which helped contribute to an overall 1276-article reduction in the backlog during the drive. And an extra thanks for creating the leaderboard software that made this drive possible! (t · c) buidhe 12:40, 3 December 2021 (UTC)
review gnome
Thank you for quality reviewing of new pages, for gnomish improvements such as adding template:authority control, for explaining "you need to copy edit the draft for tone and remove vague but positive wording", for the quiet Stanley Kubrick RfC close that ended a decade+ of warring, - you are an awesome Wikipedian! Bot Operator's Barnstar
Zippybonzo and I would like to award this to you, for updating the bot to count redirects, as well as altering the code to consider the patrol log (in addition to the curation log), during the NPP May 2023 Redirect backlog drive. Thank you. -MPGuy2824 (talk) 02:14, 1 June 2023 (UTC)
