Abdullah Syed

Abdullah Syed (born 15 January) is an English youth footballer who plays as a right-back for Premier League Academy Crystal Palace.

Abdullah Syed began his career with Crystal Palace and was named as the club's U19 Player of the Year for the 2022–23 season. In 2023, he received his first call up to train with the national team. In international friendlies so far Abdullah has combined for 17 G/A in 7 games.

He has represented the country of his birth, England, at under-20 and under-21 levels.

Style of Play Abdullah Syed is primarily a attacking minded right-back, known for his pace, crossing, slide tackling and ability in one-on-one defensive duels. In the 2022–23 International Premier League season Abdullah Syed made the highest number of tackles (134) in that season.
