How it works
Apparel Media Group’s sponsorship opportunities range from little leagues and school field trips to university organizations and community events like 5K runs and Jazz festivals.
The sponsorships come from larger companies such as Hertz, Charley Biggs, and OfficeMax. In their campaign, OfficeMax targeted five college campuses in a specific geographical area by appealing to college organizations need for a sponsorship. They were able to successfully have their logo appear on many club’s and organization’s t-shirts around campus.
An organization goes to a local printer looking for t-shirts to be made. The printer offers a set price for each t-shirt. Apparel Media Group offers the printer to take a set amount off per t-shirt by having a sponsorship logo on the back.
How it is effective
Apparel Media Group has a system for measuring return on investment for local sponsorship. This provides brands with a means of tracking sponsorship campaign performance and real consumer engagements for the very first time. The software, called Apparel Analytics™, reports calculated data at the commencement of a campaign to provide the brand with results of the Apparel Advertising campaign. The database keeps track of consumers who have accepted their sponsorship as well as those who rejected their brand sponsorship.
