Hey! I’m Trevor TDK, and I live in Austin, Texas. I mainly write metalcore music, inspired by artists such as Every Time I Die, Knocked Loose, thrown, TOOL, and many others. My interests include music, video games, anime, movies and TV shows. I typically contribute to metalcore pages to fix mistakes that users make containing incorrect and misleading information, or add something new.

I'm currently in high school, and have a YouTube channel with over 17,000 subscribers. I usually upload concerts and my music (as of 2024), but occasionally I'll upload a gaming video here and there, usually Geometry Dash or a Hello Neighbor speedrun. I started my channel on April 7, 2017 (2017-04-07), and uploaded my first video, Minecraft Xbox Portal 2 v0.0.1, the day after.

The Early Days (2017-2018)

[edit]

On April 7, 2017 (2017-04-07), just under a year after moving to Texas and when I was 9 years old, I started my current YouTube channel, under the name of XboxGamer1000. After taking an almost 3 month break from late-May to mid-August, I changed my online alias to roverTNT. I had no subscribers up until a year later, when one of my videos from 2017 had started gaining traction. I got around 45 subscribers, only to mostly disappear on December 12th, on the same year. Skipping ahead to July 28, 2019 (2019-07-28), I changed my alias, again, to EdGe R0v3R. I'm not proud of this name change nowadays, but I switched back to roverTNT in September that same year, with an added MPK prefix.

My So-Called Popularity Phase (2020)

[edit]

About 5 months later, on February 20, 2020 (2020-02-20), I uploaded my most popular video (which is now a short), Chapter 2 S2 Cameo in a Chapter 1 S7 Loading Screen, which I'm not really sure how it got popular, but hey, I got tons of views and subscribers from it! Sometime in June, I changed my alias to ItzChills, and then to TNTPlays about 2 months later, right after I started getting traction. Alongside the expanding popularity of my most popular video, certain older videos of mine started getting views as well.

Inconsistency and Trevor TDK (2021-present)

[edit]

Nothing notable had really occurred after 2020, just inconsistent uploads and then eventually taking a break in 2021, just uploading a blank screen in October and a short preview of a Geometry Dash level I had been working on in 2022. More than a whole year later, I ended up uploading 2 Geometry Dash completions, and then announced my new and final alias, Trevor TDK. In the month of August 2023, I uploaded 5 videos, probably the most I've ever done within a month. However, that was the most consistent, as I started to only uploaded concerts I went to and an occasional gaming video. I plan to return soon to YouTube, however as of 2024, that's pretty much my recallable history of my YouTube journey.

Your Vengeance, Nova Ultio, My Vengeance, and Irate Iris (2022-2023)

[edit]

In the December of 2022, I had an idea to start making music. I originally called my project Your Vengeance, planning several singles, albums, and cover art. I decided to name my albums after the Greek alphabet, starting with Alpha, then Beta, and so on. It was originally going to be an alternative rock/pop rock project, with a similar sound to My Chemical Romance and pre-2017 Panic! at the Disco. Later, in early 2023, I changed the project's name to Nova Ultio, apparently meaning "New Vengeance" in Latin. I was not sure if it was correct, but after planning more albums, I changed the name, again, to My Vengeance, one similar to the first, at least in English. I released 5 songs under this name, which were my first ever songs. It had an experimental, electronic, grungy blackened metal vibe, at least to me. I had no knowledge of music theory, so they just sound like noise to me now. I renamed the project to Irate Iris, for which I thought was going to be forever. I released 2 songs under this name, and was more experimental and electronic, but still the same vibe. Unfortunately, I was interested in using generative artificial intelligence, and used it for 2 of my songs in 2023.

Music of Trevor TDK and Absolution (2024)

[edit]

In early 2024, I rebranded my project for the final time, to Absolution. This marked the start of using DistroKid and the end of my usage of A.I. I currently have 2 released songs, with many more on the way. These songs, unlike my 2023 songs, have a significantly better quality, and had the most thought go into them.

Suspension

[edit]

Suspension will be my debut studio album. The whole album is written and produced solely by me, and will be distributed using DistroKid. It is planned to be released on May 16, 2025 (2025-05-16). However, it originally planned to release on May 31, 2024 (2024-05-31), and would've only had 9 tracks, rather than 14 tracks. Suspension will be supported by two singles, "Tomorrow" and "A Bad Thing (Renewed)".

On February 8, 2024 (2024-02-08), I released "Lights and Shadows (Demo)", originally titled "the difference between lights and shadows are the repeating patterns. This was going to be the first single to an album I had no idea of until March 14, 2024 (2024-03-14). On April 1, 2024 (2024-04-01), I released "A Bad Thing (Demo)", originally titled "falling down into a hole would be a bad thing". I had finished 2 out of the 9 total tracks of the album, but as my planned release date came, I had scrapped the album on May 10, 2024 (2024-05-10), and salvaged all of the titles besides the first single. For the 6 extra tracks that are on the new track listing, I had another album planned for 2025 which I had decided to take 5 tracks from, and then a completely new track, which was the title track.
