Port of Aalborg A/S (former Aalborg Havn A/S) is a Danish company and commercial port based in Aalborg by the Limfjord. Port of Aalborg profiles itself as Denmark's largest inland port.
The group employs 110 people (2020)[1]. CEO is Claus Kim Holstein Nielsen, and chairman of the board is Thomas Kastrup-Larsen[2].
The port owns areas in five port areas, including Østhavnen, Centralhavnen, Oliehavnen, Nordhavnen and Aalborg Havn Nord.
Ownership
[edit]In 2000 Aalborg Municipality acquired the limited company Aalborg Havn A/S from the State. Aalborg Municipality currently owns 100% of the share capital. In 2020 the company changed its name fra Aalborg Havn A/S to Port of Aalborg A/S.
