Parameters

[edit]

The following may be supplied before the tournament is over:

  • logo - (no idea what this is for)
  • datefrom and dateto - The dates between which the tournament is or was played. Manual Of Style states that linking of dates purely for the purpose of auto-formatting is now deprecated. Recommended format: dd MMMM YYYY
  • nations The national teams playing in the tournament. Use of the {{ru}} template here will automate the display of national flags (where appropriate) and create Wikilinks to national team articles.
  • matches - The number of matches currently completed.
  • attendance - The total number of spectators who have attended matches to date.
  • preceded by and succeeded by - links to articles on the prior and next tournaments.

Once the tournament is finished, the following may be supplied.

  • champion and runnerup - The teams who came first and second in the tournament. Country names only (England, Wales etc.) should be given, not {{ru|ENG}} or {{ru|WAL}}.
  • top scorer and most tries - the individual players who scored the most points overall and the highest number of tries.
