onlyjoe onlyjoe is a 9 piece roots reggae band from london.

Formation

The band formed in 2009, when front men Jago & Zico, saxophone player Papa B, and sound engineer Hylu joined forces with the existing rhythm section. The band subsequently went to work creating new material as well as reworking some songs which had already been created by various band members, until eventually the current line-up was completed in 2011 when Trumpeter Andy Grimshaw joined. After which the band started on their debut release, and first major festival tour.

Live

Over the course of their history the band have played with many of the UK's biggest names, such as Congo Natty, Mad Professor, Demolition Man, Aba Shanti-I, Zion Train, Channel One Soundsystem & many more. They have taken part in the busy Chai Wallahs festival tour, appearing at events such as Secret Garden Party, Boomtown Fair & Sunrise Celebration, as well as performing in venues around the country, including The Roundhouse, Hootenanny Brixton, Oxford's Cellar and Bristol's Lakota for the St Paul's Carnival after party
